Diploma of Civil Engineering (DKA)
The Diploma in Civil Engineering programme (DKA) is designed to equip the students with the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and exemplary behaviour desired in the Civil Engineering course.
The Teaching and Learning (PnP) process of this programme is implemented both in the campus and construction sites which covers the job prospects in the construction industries including the usage of construction materials and technology, structural designs and construction method, local authority acts, laws and regulation along with the importance of workers safety and health and environment conservation.
Teamwork along with interpersonal and communication skills are exposed to students so that they will be able to communicate, interact
and contribute effectively as team members.
The knowledge and skills acquired by the students will be useful for the success in the future or current employment.

Diploma of Building Services Engineering
The Diploma in Building Services Engineering is designed to equip the students with the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and exemplary behaviour desired in the operation and maintenance of building services.
The Teaching and Learning (PnP) process of this programme is implemented in the campus, studio and other related industries which covers the job prospects in identifying the design system as well as to ensure the building operational and maintenance are effectively carried out in fulfilling the industries’ and clients’ needs.
This programme also incorporates a wide discipline of building infrastructure construction, electrical power system and mechanical plant system along with stable internal environmental maintenance which cover the aspects of room temperature control, air circulation, permitted air conditioning and lighting levels, convenience working space, along with the importance of workers safety and health as well as effective assets and facilities management.
Teamwork along with interpersonal and communication skills are exposed to students so that they will be able to communicate, interact and contribute effectively as team members.
The knowledge and skills acquired by the students will be useful for pursuing success in career development or studies in the field of building services engineering and facilities management.

Diploma of Quantity Surveying
Diploma in Quantity Surveying programme will expose the students to the basic aspects of knowledge in Quantity Surveying theoretically and practically. This programme will be carried out in both theoretically and practically such as lecture, studio work, computer theories and practical training at firms which covers the job prospects in the measurements and evaluation of constructions quantities based on construction structure design.
This programme is also designed to expose the students with the knowledge and basic skills in quantity surveying such as reading a drawing plan, using construction materials and technology, writing the construction specifications, calculating and estimating construction cost or budget as well as managing construction contracts, projects, acts and professional practices.
