The Industrial Training and Liaison Unit (UPLI) is located at the ground floor of Department of Student Affairs (JHEP), Sultan Azlan Shah Polytechnic .
Management of this unit consists of:
- Unit Head (KUPLI)
- 2 Industrial Relations and Training Officers (PPLI)
- Department Industry Training Coordinator (PLIJ)
- An Administrative Assistant (PT)
- Office Assistant General (PAP)
UPLI is one of the units in the PSAS organization responsible for managing processes related to student industry training. Overall there are 5 main functions of UPLI namely:
- Plan and coordinate all industry training activities that students need to follow including preparation prior to industry training, during industry training and after industry training.
- Coordinates supervision visits where students undergo industrial training
- Coordinates the process of evaluating industry training after students have completed industrial training.
- Hold discussions with private parties, statutory bodies and governments to obtain appropriate industry-specific student training venues.
- Collaborate with training organizations to enable students to get the most out of their industry training.
