The Mathematics, Science & Computer Department (JMSK) is one of the supporting academic departments in Polytechnic Sultan Azlan Shah. The department is responsible for teaching and learning modules related to Mathematics, Computing and Engineering Science.
The JMSK comprises 32 lecturers comprising various academic disciplines such as Mathematics, Science, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. They were then assisted by 2 lab assistants in handling matters relating to the use and management of the lab and 1 Low General Assistant.
In terms of infrastructure, JMSK is responsible for managing computing laboratories as well as science labs for use by lecturers and students from all parent departments. The use of computerized laboratories as well as science laboratories is according to the timetable.
